About Andy MacLean

Andy MacLean, CPC, co-founder and President of Scoutzz, is a self described "business junkie" who has continuously distinguished himself over a 25 year career in the recruiting and professional services industries. In addition to starting up two search firms and a recruiting consulting company, Andy has also held field general management positions for two of the largest publicly traded staffing companies in the country, running the eight cities Central Region for Norrell Financial Staffing (now SFN group) and the eight business unit Washington/Baltimore/Northern Virginia market for KForce. In both of these organizations, Andy's teams consistently produced award-winning results. 

Andy grew up on Boston's North Shore (in General George S. Patton, Jr's adopted home town), caddied for 10 years at Myopia Hunt Club (a club that hosted 4 early U.S. Opens), and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He’s lived in Northern Virginia since 1998 where he’s enjoyed coaching basketball and baseball in the Chantilly Youth Association. He’s also an avid golfer.

About Patricia Bethune Lunsford

Patricia Bethune Lunsford, CPA, co-founder and COO of Scoutzz has over 12 years experience recruiting for top level and experienced talent with primary focus in Accounting and Finance related fields.  She spent over 10 years with Acsys, Inc. (now Accountants International) as Director of Business Consulting for the DC Metro area.  There she recruited and staffed highly qualified professionals (primarily in the operational business, accounting and finance fields) so successfully that her practice became the highest profit and revenue producer for the company.  Prior to her recruiting career she spent 7 years in public accounting in Greensboro, NC and 4 years in corporate accounting and reporting for a fortune 50 company in New York.

Patricia graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  She passed the uniformed CPA exam and is certified (license inactive) in North Carolina.
